Anthony's Barbershop

I got my first job as a boy shining shoes in a barbershop in the 1950s. I loved everything about the barbershop atmosphere. The jokes, the stories, the people. Ever since, I always wanted to be a barber.

 

Fast forward a few years and I am working in construction. One day, I was complaining about my job as usual and my buddy had enough. He told me to stop complaining and to do something about it. So I did.

 

I have been doing hair now for over 30 years. I have managed a chain of salons, I have operated salons with multiple stylists. I have done it all.

 

Today I run my own shop here in Algonquin. It's just me, I have one chair and I'm happy. I'm your old-school, old-fashion barber, trying to preserve that '50s barbershop atmosphere.
